Join the PTA

Help us reach our goal of 300 members!

Our PTA is a volunteer, non-profit organization & with the financial support of our members we are able to provide our students/teachers with programs, activities, and supplies not funded by AISD.

Why? Because EDUCATION MATTERS TO US ALL.

Just a friendly reminder that the speed limit surrounding Bailey is 30 mph.  Please be mindful of our neighbors, pedestrians, bicyclists, and wildlife while traveling to and from Bailey.  The Travis County Sheriff's Office often runs radar in our area to keep everyone safe.

Want to know what times the bus comes and drops off this year?  BUS STOP FINDER has been updated for the new school year...

Know what's more exciting?!  AISD "Where’s the Bus" app tracks where your child’s bus is located.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS ON HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP. Learn more about AISD Transportation here: https://www.austinisd.org/transportation

Help us kick-off the school year right for our Bailey teachers and staff with our Back-to-School Luncheon on Friday,  August 17th.  We could use a little help with donations of drinks and goodies. Please click below to help.  We appreciate your generosity!

Bailey is hosting a New Parent Orientation on Friday, August 17th from 5:30-6:00 PM.  Come meet Bailey Administrators and learn about Bailey policies, including dress code and cell phone policies.  Get all your questions answered about attendance, absences, picking up students early, and the best way to communicate with teachers.  Athletic Boosters will be there selling spirit wear, the PE department will be on hand selling PE uniforms, and the PTA will be there to welcome you to the Bailey family!  Students are welcome to attend with their parents.

Middle school is different than elementary school in that there really isn't a set supply list.  Depending on your student's schedule of classes, different teachers may require different supplies.  We know everyone wants to get a jump on their school supply shopping.   CLICK HERE to see a list of suggested items that would work for most Bailey students.  Within the first few days of school, your student will get a list from each teacher about the specific requirements for a particular class.

Many Bailey parents find a larger "Trapper Keeper" style zipper binder system works well for their middle schooler.

Students do not need to bring supplies to school until they have been assigned a locker, which is usually by the end of the first week.  Until then, students usually bring a folder, binder or trapper keeper with notebook paper in it to keep track of handouts and other items.
