6th Grade Social

Get your glow on!

Each year the Bailey PTA hosts a 6th Grade Social as a way for our new Bailey Bears to get to know each other. This chaperoned event will take place directly after school on Friday, September 26th from 4:00–5:30pm in the Bailey cafeteria. This year's theme is "Glow Party," and we'll have:
 

  • DJ

  • Glowsticks

  • Photobooth

  • Raffle prizes

 

How to Purchase a Wristband

Students will be able to purchase event wristbands during "A" lunch leading up to the event. Wristbands will be $8 (cash only) and will be sold Wednesday, September 24–Friday, September 26th. Wristbands will NOT be sold at the event and must be purchased during lunch. The cost of the wristband will include one slice of pizza, water bottle and a bag of chips. Additionally, there will be sweet treats available for purchase at the event—cash only, small bills preferred. 

Dress Code

Because this event takes place directly after school, students should feel NO obligation to dress up or wear anything they wouldn't typically wear to school. We recommend comfortable clothes they can move and have fun in—white is a great glow-in-the-dark option. 

Volunteers Needed

In order to make this an awesome event for our 6th Graders, we need VOLUNTEERS. Please review the SignUp Genius below for ways to contribute as a Volunteer or with donations. (Please note that if you plan to volunteer at the dance or during wristband sales, you will need to complete an AISD volunteer registration & background check — it's fast and free.)
