Bear Essentials - February 10th

No school this Friday or Monday!

Bailey PTA will be helping coordinate the complimentary T-Shirt incoming 6th graders receive when they attend "Camp Bailey", the school's summer orientation camp. Contact baileymiddleschoolpta@gmail.com for information about adding your company's logo to the shirt for as little as $150.  

Our PTA email often includes information featured in the school's weekly email.  This is intentional, as the school email is only sent to designated contacts of currently enrolled students. Our PTA distribution list includes incoming parents, grandparents, etc. who benefit from staying informed of what is happening on campus.

If you know future Bear families, please forward them this email.  They can sign up to receive it by sending an email to baileymiddleschoolpta@gmail.com with the word "SUBSCRIBE" in the subject line.

Bear Essentials - January 20th

Talent show tryouts will take place after school this Wednesday, January 23rd, in room 801.  Students MUST SIGN UP to tryout by end of day on Tuesday, January 22nd.  Contact linda.mcarthur@austinisd.org in room 801 for more information.  We'd love some variety in this years show!  Come show us what you can do! 

Our Native Plants & Animals class is in need of more wheelbarrows for student use.  The more we have, the more students can actively participate in outdoor activies.  New, used or even one with a hole in it would be fine!  We'll take anything!  Contact Romie.Tafoya@austinisd.org with questions.

Bear Essentials - January 13th

Please visit the Bailey Counseling Website (click here) and review the Bailey Course Selection Guide with your student. It is critical to look at this information before  the Bailey Showcase Night and filling out the choice sheet so your child can choose the classes that they are really interested in.

Please understand and consider the following:

Student choice sheets determine class size and campus staffing.It is difficult to honor change of mind requests after the March 29th "change request" deadline.Prioritizing and accurately filling out your choice sheet is the best way to get the schedule you want.
